Cathrine &. Ivar’s wedding took place at helenekilde badehotel, a historic gem located along the beautiful coast of Tisvilde, encompassing a rich history filled with charm and elegance. Located 5 minutes from my home I joined Cathrine in the morning capturing the moments with her closest girls. With the hotel having so much charm I discreetly captured the details of her shoes and jewellery around the hotel without the guests noticing.

With never being able to predict the Danish weather everyone had their eyes on the skies, what started a beautiful sunshine morning quickly turned into a huge downpour as the ceremony was about to start. Umbrellas were quickly pulled out and everyone took cover. For photographer this was a perfect moment, natural moments started to happen with everyone embracing the moment.

Soon after the ceremony the sunshine came out again and everyone enjoyed the terrace wih cake and champagne whilst we began the portrait session. Living close by, we always explore the beautiful landscape and I always dreamed of using these stairs down to the beach. With the dramatic skies of the passing storm it added much drama to the images. A dream come true.

The night ended with laughter, fun and tears. We had the most wonderful sunset that topped off a perfect day with Cathrine and Ivar.
